Since its founding, ICIP has opened itself up to visits from academics and activists both from Indonesia as well as from overseas. These fellowships and exchanges provide a means for academics and activists to share their experiences and ideas regarding pluralism with Indonesian audiences, as well as learn new approaches and gain new insight from their experiences in Indonesia.
Exchanges and Fellowships - Visiting
Scholars: high-profile international progressive Muslim thinkers visit ICIP for one or two week periods, conducting public lectures and
seminars not only in Jakarta but in several major cities, and having
intensive working sessions with their counterparts in Indonesia
- Visiting
Fellows: highly regarded Muslim scholars from Southeast and South Asia
